SIP Page Live!

Script Improv Project

If you haven't already heard then now you will know, the major project that I have am spearheading is a little workshop called SIP or Script-Improv Project.  What the workshop basically entails is sort of Research and Development of theatre, where we investigate the concepts and theories of theatre to try and seamlessly integrate improvisation and scripts into a new form of presentation!

It's an exciting development and you can find all the information at our new SIP page located on the navigation bar or by clicking here.  In fact, this whole posting is littered with clickable links to our new page!  And check it out now because we're going to be showcasing our month long progress this weekend at the Last Stand at the Endtimes Underground.  Our last show in the space!  So check it out!

Matthew Kreiner in 3rd Vingettes Festival!

Coming February 12th, the third annual Vignettes for the Apocalypse festival is taking off at the Gene Frankel Theatre.  Together, with 10+ directors, 50+ actors, and thanks to some vast quantities of sugar drinks, stimulants, and psychosis, Endtimes Productions will be putting on about 20 plays over the course of two weeks.

As per tradition, Matthew Kreiner will be directing two of them. Matthew has gotten together with some familar faces and some new ones.  Come see Vignettes for the Apocalypse, definitely see Group 3 (dates listed below) and you should find time to see the other shows because the rumor mill is stirring that we have a festival packed with quality plays!

Group 3 Performances:

Naked Holidays Photos Up and Naked

For all of you who were unable to make it to the show or all of you who want to revisit the pleasant memories of the Naked Holidays '09, a small photo gallery has been opened up for your viewing pleasure.  And I do mean pleasure.  Muahahaha!  Okay.  I'll stop now.

Enjoy!

Matthew Kreiner to Direct Candice Jarrett's "Unlucky Lover"

Matthew Kreiner's first upcoming project in 2009 is to direct a music video of Candice Jarrett.  Her amazing song, "Unlucky Lover", fully produced will be shot and released under the winter landscape of 2009.

Now some of you may be asking yourselves, what exactly does Matthew Kreiner know about unlucky love?  Well nameless darlings of the internet, there is a long sorrid history behind those eyes in the picture on the right hand side of this page.  Much hurt.  Much pain.  But now that unending, nightmare-causing pain is going to be packaged into a music video for your entertainment!

Keep posted for more information on its release!

Dead Lawyers Reviewed!

Our first review came out, and gotta say, it's a goodie.  Jay Flemma works with IP, sports, and internet agencies, and blogs about the world of his specialty.  So enjoy the review.  Here's just a few tidbits I picked out:

"Matt Kreiner seemed to have as easy a time managing the actors as Tampa Bay Rays manager Joe Maddon has with his talented team: just let ‘em go and have fun and they’ll do just fine."

"Well blocked, the cast runs around zanily in a small space, but smoothly makes it feel a lot bigger."

"Although diminutive Josh Hyman is built like a fire hydrant with legs, he delivers a performance as large as Yao Ming."

"The audience felt it as well. 'They seemed to have so much fun in every scene,' said Jennifer Richman, an audience member from Williamsburg."
