Nicolette Callaway - Actor

Nicolette Callaway has been acting since the age of seven. She received her B.A. in Gender & Sexuality Studies from NYU in 2005, and since then has been working the NYC Off-off Broadway circuit, performing in various shows and working closely with Rising Sun Performance Company and EndTimes Productions, most recently performing in EndTimes' Naked Holidays. She recently trained at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco and is pursuing graduate school admission this fall. Nicolette currently resides in Albany, NY, recovering from a recent hip fracture, and will be working remotely with the Scripted Improv Project until she may return to NYC to work with its members again physically.
With theater, Nicolette likes to rock the boat. She is constantly looking for new ways to perceive things and then represent them on stage. With SIP, she enjoys manipulating the ways improvisation has been used in scripted work in an effort to present to audiences a seamless, text-based yet ever-evolving and shifting piece of theater – a play that is never static in time or space. Nicolette is excited about the possibilities the SIP workshop will bring to the process of theatermaking.
