"Spoken For" Wins in Four Categories!

In this past Vignettes for the Apocalypse festival, Spoken For, the comedy about a world where the affluent no longer bother themselves with the arduous art of articulation and hire "speakers" to translate their grunts and actions, has won four Serling Awards!  Spoken For won Best Actress (Heather Lee Harper), Best Script (S.L. Daniels), Best Director (Yours Truly), and Best Production in a Long Comedy.

A brief background, the Serling Awards For Apocalyptic Theatre are the awards handed out by the producing festival for excellence within four categories: Long Drama, Long Comedy, Short Drama, and Short Comedy.  This year, Spoken For came up on top in the Long Comedy category, and with great reason, as everyone involved put in a significant amount of work towards the production.

On a personal note, I would like to publically thank everyone involved with Spoken For and also the other show in the festival, Homage to Catatonia, for all their hard work in making this festival truly successful and hope to see you all soon!

Now enough of you, yay me!
